I don’t have a lot to say but have enjoyed public games at the following locations in addition to The Guild House:

The War House: 630 W Willow St, Long Beach, CA 90806 (Great place to get supplies for painting minis too!)

Game Hub: 1809 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 (Tight quarters but great people)

Collector Legion: 13850 Normandie Ave, Gardena, CA 90249

Dice House Games: 2493 E Chapman Ave, Fullerton, CA 92831

Game Empire: 1795 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91106

Lost Planet: 4626 Del Amo Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503

The Game Chest: 21540 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503

Also worth noting many Barnes and Noble locations will tolerate a game if you’re not too incredibly loud, as will places like breweries on slower nights, Mondays in particular. Policies are always changing for stores and some of these venues I have not been to recently so it’s best to call and ask, though I will say they all have been welcoming enough in the past.

Emerald Knights in Burbank has an awesome mezzanine with lots of gaming tables, and very active D&D Adventurer’s League and Magic the Gathering groups.
